My name is Anita van der Merwe and I am a Travel Counsellor based in Pretoria, however I can be of service to you anywhere in the world. I have a wonderful husband and we have 3 boys whom I love spending time with. Our family loves travelling and exploring new destinations all over the world.
I have been in the travel industry for many years, specialising in taking people to Austria for both leisure and business travel purposes. My passion is ski-holidays. I have always been passionate about the travel industry and I was fortunate enough to travel to the USA, to most of Europe, UK and the Greek Islands! My favourite destination is Austria especially as we as a family love skiing and enjoy the Austrian culture.
I did my Travel and Tourism qualifications many years ago through The Technikon of Pretoria which included Cotac Fares & Ticketing and Galileo. I have also done extensive training on Travel Counsellors intranet booking system, Contact Centre and their dynamic packaging system, Phenix.
I have resolved many travelling issues, especially issues relating to Visa applications!
I joined Travel Counsellors as I wanted to run my own Travel Business. Being a Travel Counsellor I can offer my clients the service that they deserve. The backup and support from Travel Counsellors Head Office is phenomenal and this enables me to concentrate on my client’s needs. I have over 1200 colleagues across the world who can assist me for example with recommendations or to perhaps solve a local problem.
I am not bound by traditional office hours and I will be able to assist you in emergencies out of hours whenever the need arises.
